Patrick Luhn, PLA #7003, QWEL, CWM
Founding Principal Landscape Architect
Patrick Luhn is the Founder of PLdesigns, a boutique landscape architecture firm rooted in creativity, sustainability, and thoughtful design. A California licensed Landscape Architect, Patrick brings over twelve years of experience in the industry, including prior work at one of Southern California’s top landscape architecture firms.
He holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) from Ball State University and maintains several professional certifications, including QWEL (Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper) and Certified Water Manager through both the California Landscape Contractors Association (CLCA) and the EPA WaterSense program.
Jioanna Polychroniou, MBA
Chief Marketing Officer
Jioanna is the Chief Marketing Officer at PLdesigns. She has over 8 years of experience in global marketing and business development and is responsible for PLdesigns’ end-to-end marketing strategy. She holds an MBA (Masters of Business Administration) degree with a specialization in Marketing and Innovation and a BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) degree with a focus in Finance and International Business from the University of Cincinnati. During Jioanna’s free time, she enjoys a good workout and a competitive tennis match.

Cliff has over 30 years of experience in landscape architecture services. His contemporary, sustainable, and creative designs have come to life in a broad spectrum of outdoor spaces throughout Southern, Central, and Northern California. His experience spans the following: Master planned communities, Commercial properties, Mixed-use properties, Housing developments, Recreational facilities, Hospitality properties, Schools and churches, Residentials
Cliff has a passion for understanding a client’s vision and turning it into a reality through innovation and creativity. His network of professionals in the landscape industry is extensive, and he has built durable relationships with architects, engineers, developers, community planners, government agency staff, landscape construction professionals, and homeowners. These relationships are based on trust, commitment, and performance. As needed, Cliff connects clients to exceptional professionals in the field who are experts in executing landscape plans.
